Zyprexa linked to Diabetes, Hyperglycemia
Were you looking for FDA Warns About Serious Olanzapine Skin Reactions lawsuits?
Zyprexa (olanzapine), prescribed for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar mania, has been linked to serious side effects. These Zyprexa side effects reportedly include diabetes mellitus, hyperglycemia, pancreatitis and increased risk of suicide. According to some lawsuits, Eli Lilly, maker of Zyprexa, allegedly knew about the link between Zyprexa and diabetes but failed to adequately warn the public about that risk.
With worldwide distribution to thousands of consumers, Zyprexa's side effects were considered such a risk that in 2002, both the Japanese Health and Welfare Ministry and the Great Britain Medicines Control Agency issued emergency warnings concerning Zyprexa and diabetes-related complications.
According to The New York Times (January 5, 2007), in 2007, Eli Lilly agreed to pay up to $500 million to settle 18,000 lawsuits alleging patients developed diabetes or other serious side effects after taking Zyprexa. By early 2007, according to the newspaper, Lilly had agreed to pay at least $1.2 billion to approximately 28,500 people who alleged the use of Zyprexa caused them harm.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning label in 2003 for all atypical anti-psychotic drugs to include the risk of hyperglycemia. Currently, Zyprexa is still approved as safe and effective. Patients should be aware that it could be dangerous to stop taking the medication, especially abruptly, and should talk with their physicians to decide whether the benefits outweigh the risks of taking Zyprexa.

Eli Lilly & Co. is accused of heavily promoting Zyprexa as a safe and effective drug for psychotic disorders, while virtually concealing the risks of side effects from doctors and from the patients themselves. Hundreds of lawyers and various bar associations from 25 different states have already suspiciously refused my pleads for legal representation in this case. Some lawyers refused to take my case because they said that they do not take claims against Eli Lilly, the manufacturer of this poisonous Nero-toxin. Other Lawyers yelled at me on the phone as if I was doing some kind of a crime in seeking recompense. I found that this pharmaceutical is very, very profitable to its manufacturer and that, most suspiciously of all, no more claims can be made against it with respect to side effect complications.
It is obvious this is a huge case, in that the marketing of this toxin appears to be extremely lucrative towards the lively-hood of the entire medical and legal profession. I have already experienced hundreds and hundreds of denials against pleads for legal help. I have contacted lawyers, law enforcement officials, journalists, politicians, and recent mass murder targeted locations across the U.S., as well as the President himself, none of which would, or could offer help. Most of them had no response at all. Though I have found that this pharmaceutical is very, very profitable to its manufacturer and that no more claims can be made against it in terms of side effect complications, my claim against the manufacturer is unique. I have much more than side effect complications to prove Lilly liable for fraud. I have proof of its direct effect and how it causes psychosis and concrete expert witness testimonial facts to prove those effects.
If you were assured, for certain (hypothetically speaking of course), that the above testimony was accurate, would you be able to recommend solutions as to where I could turn for legal help or advice?
