Parmalat awaits Settlement

Parmalat SpA, is awaiting a decision that would have them pay $10.5 million to settle a securities fraud class action lawsuit. The company collapsed into bankruptcy in 2003, and though it reported earnings every year, it had actually never earned a profit after 1992.
