Proposed Settlement Reached in Aerotek Employment Class Action

This is a settlement for the Employment lawsuit.

Call center staff who sued their employer, Aerotek, have reached a proposed $1.2 million settlement.

Over 1,300 employees were involved in the class action suit which stemmed from action taken by the company in April 2007, and resulting allegations that Aerotek took away employees' accrued leave.

If the settlement is approved, the plaintiffs could receive funds by midsummer.

I was hired by Aerotek and I had a felony that is 9 years old and they went back 7 years so they say. They placed me on and assignment that was affiliated with a bank now told them they are not going to hire me on because don't they do finger prints he told me no don't worry I would be fine. Now I work for these people for 7 mos then I found out they do finger prints I was lied to thinking I had a chance at becoming permanent. Can they do that?

I didn't even know about the settlement but I received a check for 13.07 today.
