Amputee Patient Awarded $10 Million in Medical Malpractice Suit
This is a settlement for the Medical Malpractice lawsuit.
A jury has ruled in favor of John German, from Houston, in a medical malpractice case, awarding him $10 million in damages.
The lawsuit was against Methodist Hospital and the doctors who treated Mr. German, alleging he developed gangrene following heart surgery in 2002. He subseqently required amputation of his left leg above the knee, all the toes on his right foot and all of his fingers.
