13 Injured in LA Commuter Rail Accident

Second LA Area Commuter Rail Accident in a Week

At least 13 people have been injured as a result of a light rail train crashing into a bus near downtown Los Angeles Friday morning.

The accident happened during the morning commute, when an out of service bus got in front of the Metro Blue Line train which was headed for Long Beach. Authorities are still trying to establish who had the right of way.

The front car of the electric train was knocked off the track from the resulting impact.
