Travis Ford

The former Eastern Kentucky basketball coach has agreed to pay a $150,000 settlement to the University of Massachusetts. Ford led Eastern to its first NCAA Tournament in 26 years and was hoping the teams' successful season would turn a blind eye to his contract that ends in April 3002. Ford allegedly breached a contract with the university by resigning early and agreed to pay back his base salary for the remainder of his contract. (Apr-23-05)
