Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation

Chase is one of the largest mortgage originators and servicers in the country.

Our clients all have mortgages with Chase and have been subjected to the following practices by Chase:
(1) Chase has failed to promptly and accurately credit our clients' payments;
(2) Chase has failed to pay insurance and tax payments from our clients escrow accounts;
(3) Chase has placed our clients payments in "suspense" accounts instead of crediting the clients account when payment was made;
(4) Chase has charged late fees and other fees when payments have been timely made;
(5) Chase has purchased hazard insurance for no reason at outrageous prices for our clients property; and
(6) Chase has started foreclosure proceedings prematurely and has charged attorneys fees for improperly instituted foreclosure proceedings.

Based upon the information we have, it is our opinion that the same or better claims against Chase exist throughout the country.

I WAS PAYING OPTIONAL PRODUCT INSURANCE FROM CHASE FROM 2004 JULY TO MAY 10 2008 WHICH COVERED DISABILITY INSURANCE I WAS DISABLED IN MAY 10 2008 WHILE ON THE JOB IT TOOK TWO OF MY WORKERS COMP CHECKS TO COVER MY MORGAGE THEY ALSO TOOK OUT VARIUS INSURANCE ON MY PROPERTY WHEN I CALLED I TOLD THEM I WAS DISABLED WITH NO HELP FROM THE THEN IN OCT I FINALLY TALKED TO ALADY THAT AS IF I WAS PAYING OPTIONAL PRODUCTS I TOLD HER YES SHE IMEDIATELY TRANSFERED ME TO THEM AT THAT TIME I GOT AN ANSWER BUT WAS TOLD IT HAD EXPIRED 2 DAYS AGOI ASK IF ID CALLED 2 DAYS AGO WOULD I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE SAME THING SHE TOLD ME I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PUT THRU TO THEM UNTIL IT EXPIRED TO TOP IT ALL OFF I GOT LETTER FROM THEM MY HOME WAS UNDER GOING FORECLOSURE AND THE AMOUNT WAS WAY MORE THAN I PURCHASED THE PROPERTY FOR I KNOW INTEREST IS IN THERE BUT NOT 35000.00 MORE I CONTINUED TO CALL TO NO AVAIL THEN I WAS SENT A LETTER SAYING MY PROPERTY WAS BEING SOLD ON COURT HOUSE SQUARE ON DEC THE 7 SO I STARTED GETTING THE TIMES GA NEWS PAPER FOUND OUT IT WAS GOING TO BE SOLD ON NOVEMBER 22 THIS CAUSED ME TO LOSE EVERY THING I OWNED WHICH WAS WORTH MORE THAN THE HOME ITS SELF I HAD TO FILE CHAPTER 7 AND LOSE EVERY THING I HAD ON SECURED LOANS I MADE TO TRY AND KEEP MY HOME SOKNOW I LET EVERY ONE I KNOW IT CHASE COMESUP TO BUY YOUR LOAN TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE CHEATED OUT OF ALOT OF MONEY IVE BEEN GOING THRU WITH THIS SINCE 2010 AND ONLY GET LETTERS SAYING THEY WILL GET TO MINE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE NOW THIS IS GOING ON FOR 6 YRS AND NOTHING IS HAPPENING SOWHATS GOING ON

We are out HUGE amounts of $$$$$ in fees and other charges when we honestly tried to pay our payments on our mortgage but they refused them and then did a reinstatement agreement which THEY did not honor correctly and now they want to modify but the terms are NOT as they stated on the phone and on our recorded messages - we need to keep our home and equity but are afraid to sign anymore paperwork with them due to the figures adding up WAY above and beyond what we were originally told they would be.

Chase Manhattan, charged us a huge amount of money for hazard ins. even though we had proven we had ins. They charged us 32,000 for a prepayment penalty and other charges. When we signed this mortgage we thought the prepayment penalty was for the length of the 3 yr ARM but we later found out that it was for 5 yrs. So we ended up paying all that money to them plus other fees, We ended up paying almost 40,000 to get out of the mortgage.
