Goodyear RV Tires: Defective Product
A popular Goodyear RV Tire has a serious design flaw and can potentially cause an accident resulting in serious injury or death. There have been reports of Goodyear Tire Model #G159 in size 275/70 22.5 failing without warning and causing serious accidents involving the RV they were mounted on. This model Goodyear tire has a history of de-treads and failures and is not safe or appropriate for use on RV's.
A number of RV manufacturers including Fleetwood and Monaco, used this defective tire on several of their Class A RV models manufactured between the mid 1990's and approximately 2004. The tire is still on the market although Goodyear and some of the RV manufacturers have initiated limited recalls and tire replacement programs for the G159. There are thousands of RV's in use today across North America equipped with this dangerous tire.
There are a number of lawsuits already filed to recover damages caused by these tires. These lawsuits involve RV owners who suffered catastrophic failure of one or more of their G159 Goodyear tires while driving their RV. Serious accidents resulted from the failures.
If you or someone you know has G159 Goodyear Tires on an RV, you may want to seek legal help.

Goodyear G159 Tires Not Safe For RV Use
Consumers who drive RVs should check to see what type of tire they are driving on and if they find the Goodyear G159 275/70 22.5, make arrangements to have their tires changed. This is because the Goodyear G159 was not designed for use on recreational vehicles but was still used on some.

Repair, tow and road service and tires and body damage totaling about $15,000. This ordeal could of been avoided if Goodyear would have recalled the defective tires. The customer should not have to pay for the manufacturers mistakes.
