At the age of 23, Kelvin DeBourgh Jr. was killed while working on a $1.9 billion project at the Kennedy Airport. DeBourgh was testing the AirTrain monorail when it derailed. His partner, Keva Scott, filed a lawsuit against Bombardier Transportation, the Port Authority, and four other subcontractors, asking for $100 million.
