Enteryx Recall

Enteryx, an Acid Reflux Treatment, recalled by Boston Scientific Corp. after several patient injuries.

Enteryx is a synthetic, chain-like structure injected into the patient's esophagus to block stomach acid from flowing upward. Several patient injuries resulted during the procedural process when doctors accidentally punctured the wall of the esophagus. One patient died during this Acid Reflux Treatment process.
