Faulty Airbag Switch Prompts Massive Cadillac Recall
General Motors has recalled 12,662 MY2009 Cadillac CTS vehicles for a possible faulty passenger airbag-sensing system.
The defective switch could disable the front-passenger airbag when it should be enabled or enable it when it should be disabled, increasingthe risk for injury. Authorized Cadillac dealers will begin to reprogram all affected passenger-sensing airbag modules free of charge as of November 18, 2008.
