Gardasil Vaccine to be Studied by CDC for Serious Side Effects

Deaths and Severe Side Effects Causing Alarm

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced that it plans to study Merck's controversial Gardasil vaccine for serious adverse events assocaited with the vaccine.

At the end of July a public interest group reported 21 deaths, and 9,749 adverse reactions associated with the vaccine over the last two years. According to sources, the report also states there have been 78 outbreaks of genital warts, six cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome, and at least 10 miscarriages in women who have received the vaccine.

While these numbers seem high, it is suspected that the real numbers are much higher, due to under-reporting by clinicians, patients and drug companies.

In January 2008, the European medical regulators announced that two young women died suddenly and mysteriously after having received the vaccine, and prior to that the CDC reported four deaths in young women under similar circumstances.
