This is a settlement for the Medical Malpractice lawsuit.
Nick Cheek went to the emergency room of the hospital on June 28th, 2001 and was diagnosed with indigestion and sent home by Dr. John Thompson. Hours later Cheek died of a heart attack. An undisclosed settlement was awarded to his family for wrongful death and medical malpractice. (Apr-18-05)
