The long standing patent dispute has ended with a $325 million settlement awarded to EMC. A jury found HP guilty of patent infringement on EMC's data storage technology. The settlement also allows HP to purchase an equivalent amount of EMC products over the next five years. (May-02-05) [ZD NET]
