I had the pad on as directed, it wasn't the first time I used these. I put one on in the morning and when I got home from work, I took off the pad and realized that there was skin stuck to the pad and I had two patches of skin off my back. I immediately went to the doctor who advised me I had 2nd degree burns and prescribed me an antibiotic cream hoping to avoid infection.

Before boarding a plane for a Hawaiian vacation I applied Icy Hot.
After a few hours I experienced sever pain went to the rest room to remove the patch and several layers of flesh came off with the patch.
My vacation was ruined as I could only sit in the room because of the pain. Could not even return home as the tickets were not changeable. Contacted Icy Hot for a claim, I asked for $15,000. for damages and for permanent scarring Icy Hot offered a $1000.00 for product refund and damages. The claim is open. I was insulted by their offer.

I purchased an Icy Hot heat patch to sooth my lower back pain, instead it produced massive irritation in the skin under and directly around the patch.
