Possible Flu Vaccine Side Effects Lawsuit
Flu Shot Reactions Reported to FDA.
Influenza Vaccine is a term used to encompass a number of products, manufactured by several pharmaceutical companies, consisting of live or dead influenza cells, administered prior to Flu season in order to protect individuals against the Influenza virus. Use of the vaccines have resulted in reports of neurological side effects and autoimmune conditions such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Guillain-Barré syndrome is a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks part of the peripheral nervous system. Some symptoms of this disorder include weakness or tingling sensations in the legs. In many instances, the weakness and abnormal sensations spread to the arms and upper body. These symptoms can increase in intensity until the patient is almost totally paralyzed.
Other reactions and/or side effects that have been reported include weakness, dizzyness, aches, sore muscles and joints, and severe anaphylactic shock.
