A $2.6 million settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed on behalf of the National Institutes of Health. The suit alleged that the hospital overbilled for addiction research and other projects, and came after an employee revealed that researchers had inflated the amount of time required to carry out studies on therapies for drug dependence.
