K.C. Smith

A settlement of $100,000 dollars has been reached in the lawsuit filed in Tennessee against 20-year-old K.C. Smith by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The suit alleged that Smith had raised approximately $102,000 dollars between May 2000 and February 2003 by promoting fictitious investments on the Internet, by making false claims in nine million spam emails and on three websites.
