A $20 million settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed on behalf of San Francisco schools. The suit included criminal investigations into corruption and waste in a federal program to bring Internet access to poor schools and libraries. The company also pled guilty to two federal felony counts, one for wire fraud and one for antitrust violation. (May-31-04)
