Alexander Otto divorce Settlement

German billionaire Alexander Otto and his wife Carrie have reached a settlement in their bitter divorce that will pay her roughly $50 million. The agreement also gives Carrie Otto custody of their 3-year-old son, Mattias. The total is nearly four times the $14 million that was included in the prenuptial agreement she signed before their marriage in June 1994. The major argument was over the prenuptial agreement. Her lawyers argued Otto fraudulently induced her to sign it because he stated his net worth was $140 million when actually it was about $3.5 billion. (Nov-21-04)
