Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips, Sweet Maui Onion, and Hawaiian Sweet Maui Onion Rings Recalled
Washington, DC: Tim's Cascade Snacks of Algona, Washington is recalling 'HAWAIIAN® Kettle Style Potato Chips - SWEET MAUI ONION' AND 'HAWAIIAN - SWEET MAUI ONION RINGS' because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
'Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips- Sweet Maui Onion' and 'Hawaiian- Sweet Maui Onion Rings' were distributed nationwide and in Canada through retail stores, distributors, direct delivery and internet sales. These products were sold as individual bags and as components of packs, including variety packs. No other 'Hawaiian' products are involved in this recall.
