Slim-Fast Recalled in Canada

Ottawa, Canada: Unilever Canada Inc. announced it is recalling several Slim-Fast meal replacements because the products may contain the bacteria Bacillus cereusm. Bacillus cereusm can cause diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal cramps between 30 minutes and 15 hours after being consumed. Both single-serve cans and six-packs are affected by the recall.
