Spironolactone
Used for congestive heart failure that was supposed to save lives, Spironolactone also caused dozens of deaths from a side effect when doctors began prescribing it more widely.
A major study five years ago found that adding spironolactone to the standard treatments cut the death rate by 30 percent in people with serious heart failure. However, when prescription rates for spironolactone increased fivefold, and hospitalizations and deaths from high potassium tripled.
Physicians need to be careful who they prescribe the drug to, and need to carefully monitor for potassium buildup.
If you feel you qualify for damages or remedies that might be awarded in a case involving inappropriate care while taking Spironolactone, please click the link below to submit your complaint.

I went to another doctor who said would need surgery to get back to normal. Needless to say I stopped taking Spironolactone and my pain and swelling stopped, but now I'm left with enlarged breasts that are very embarrassing and I'm afraid of possible breast Cancer. In addition to all that my sex life is non-existence, I'm just 66 years old and married for 48 years to the woman I completely love. Can anyone help me!!!

I took spironolactone along with docycycline low dose for probably around 15 years. I took it twice a day for cystic acne issues. I stopped taking it around 2017. 2018 I test positive for lupus and shortens autoimmune diseases. Would I have a case to pursue. I have been told my immune system is not working by a doctor. Also I have had indication of liver abnormality in blood work.

Asked my doctor to take me off of it. He did. Some sites say that any breast enlargement is reversible. I would hope so. I do not think the drug would say it was not reversible anyway. Could imagine the lawsuits if it was not reversible. My mother is on it also. Thank you.

As anyone taken Spironolactone for cystic adult acne, and experienced throat spasms called Cricopharyngeal Spasm? It occurred around the same time I was experiencing tightness in the test. I only administered the drug for 4 weeks but the side effects have persisted.
