Taco Bell.
An extra $11.8 million has been granted in interest to the two Michigan men who accused Taco Bell of stealing their talking Chihuahua advertising campaign. The ruling by a federal judge brings the total award to $41.9 million. Thomas Rinks and Joseph Shields sued the fast-food chain in 1998 over creative ownership of the mascot, and were awarded $30.1 million by a jury on June 4, 2003. (Sep-11-03)
