A $950,000 settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed by the ACLU in regards to the city's $1 a year lease with the Boy Scouts for land in the city's Balboa Park. The suit alleged that due to the Supreme Court's ruling that the Boy Scouts could refuse to admit gay troop members or troop leaders, the lease should be considered favoritism by the city towards a religious organization.
