From July to September, Walt Disney World, Florida’s largest theme-park operator, reported four injuries, two of which took place in its busiest park, the Magic Kingdom. 'One injury involved a 26-year-old woman who suffered nausea, vomiting and neck pain on Space Mountain. The woman "reportedly underwent surgery to the head prior to being released from the hospital," according to Disney's report,”' the Sentinal reported.
Other injuries reported at the Magic Kingdom included a toddler experiencing difficulty breathing, a 39-year old man suffering a seizure, and a 43-year old woman who was cut on the Humunga Kowabunga in Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park.
