Along with DePuy Orthopedics, which made payments between $1 million and $8 million, were Zimmer, Biomet, Stryker and Smith & Nephew.
DePuy was recently forced to issue a recall for a number of its hip replacement parts that were implemented in approximately 93,000 people around the world, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
