This implicated both insurance companies and medical staff, as they were alleged to have done unwarranted tests and treatments on the patients who were there to stay in business and generate more revenue, according to the news source.
Along with these allegedly unnecessary treatments, which may have led to higher costs for patients, the health insurance premiums have risen by 10 percent annually in the UK, and at a higher rate for expats who are buying international coverage. This rise, coupled with the alleged practice of generating more money through extra medical tests, has many wary about the state of the industry in England.
According to the London-based Association of International Medical Insurance Providers (AIMIP), fraud is endemic in parts of the system.

After he contacted his insurance company, according to the news source, the man was able to lower the time that he would spend in the medical facility to a three-day observation period.
This is not a trend that is specific to the UK, as a New York City man recently received a $44.8 million bill from a hospital after his treatment, a mistake that was identified by a billing company, according to The Associated Press.

Whenever a person is RAILLROADED to a maximum "psyche" hospital(such as Chester Mental Health Center,as my brother have been), it should be obvious, that finances, is the reason!
There was a 1991/2 article, in the ELGIN newspaper that stated that if they didn't get the money they wanted, ELGIN would be the 1st place they target and THAT's when my brother was FALSELY charged for aweful crimes and sent FROM minimum ELGIN, to maximum Chester.
This was helped by the MISCONDUCTING judge James DOYLE(Kane County) & state paid "psychiatrist", who KNEW that my brother NEVER agreed to take PSYCHOTROPIC drugs!

Patients at CMHC are assaulted by mainly guards, treated(NOW) at the infirmary, injuries (supposedly) heals, THEN, sent to MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, where there, the MD don't see any injury, writes the patient visit up as "UNFOUNDED", THEN, the "report" goes to the CARBONDALE office(where JEFF PLASKO, who is/were the "atty"., for the patients, where he then LOOK at the DATE on the report, which will be 60) days, previous, enabling him to not even have to read it and STAMP the complaint, marking it, "UNFOUNDED".
THIS is HOW CMHC, has been getting away with ASSAULTS on patients and getting away with the FALSE labeling them as 'schizophrenic", anti-social",, etc., (as they have been doing my brother(D.Poole), for years.
We are concerned for his COGNITIVE abilities, because of being FORCED these drugs!
We have received our COMPLAINTS filed ON HIS BEHALF, marked as "unfounded", which CAN'T be possible, because of the PHOTOS and DOCUMENTED MEDICAL RECORDS PROOF, along with the problems that he and we, have had, with CMHC. This has been a MASSIVE COVERUP of ABUSES for YEARS at CMHC and it MUST be STOPPED!
