All I know for certain is that I could be in a lot worse shape than I am today.
I thought I had pink eye and the doctor at the health clinic confirmed my diagnosis. He prescribed antibiotic drops and it cleared up. I waited 10 days to put my contacts back in but soon as I did, it flared up again in both eyes. I thought the ReNu solution had expired, but it was good through 2007. So I went to my family doctor and he said it could be from the contact solution but he wasn't certain so I had another lot of eye drops.
Those drops made it worse so the following morning I went to an ophthalmologist and he gave me yet some other drops. I waited another week before putting my contacts back in my eyes; right away they flared up again. I bought some generic contact lens solution this time and since then haven't had a problem.

When I originally thought it was pink eye, I was worried that my two-year-old would get it. And I missed a few days work. My dad came to visit, saw my eye and took off! He wouldn't even stay with me because he had a bad experience with pink eye a few years ago. There are so many repercussions from this product, not just my eye.
I haven't had any problems since I switched solutions. It was scary and I was worried that it was also contagious - my biggest concern was for my family. I want some kind of compensation. I'm not looking for much, just want to get back the $10 co-pay for my doctor visits and the four different drops. Especially the money back that I paid for ReNu.
