Sink spoke about the importance of Florida employment at a number of Labor Day events.
"Unfortunately, too many families in our state are struggling right now and over one million Floridians are unable to find a job," she said. "Getting Floridians back to work and building a stronger, more stable economy for the future will be my top priority as Governor."
According to the news provider, both Scott and Sink want to attract businesses to the state, but disagree on the type of businesses to court and how to make sure they stay in Florida.
The national unemployment rate is currently at 9.6 percent.
