Young Man Killed in Missouri Car Accident

div itemprop="articleBody" class="article">Ozark, MOA 21-year old man has been killed in a tragic car accident in the Ozarks on Monday. Joshua Bridges of Fair Grove, was in a car traveling westbound when the driver turned left in front of an eastbound pick-up truck. The truck hit the car on the passenger side, killing Bridges.

The driver of the pick-up sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Similarly, the driver of the car was also severely injured and hospitalized. The accident happened around 9:00 Monday evening.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the car crash, and that bad judgement was used by the teenager driving the car – a 17-year old woman who has not been identified or charged. According to a report on a local news site, Joshua Bridge's Aunt identified the female driver as her nephew's girlfriend.

"They will take risks that you and I will never dream of taking," Missouri State Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Dan Bracker told KY3 News.
