Nexium Plaintiffs Oppose Lawsuit Dismissal

div itemprop="articleBody" class="article">Los Angeles, CAPlaintiffs involved in Nexium lawsuits have opposed AstraZeneca's motion to dismiss the lawsuits. In all, up to 58 lawsuits are involved, with plaintiffs alleging they were not given the opportunity to fix reported issues with the lawsuits, including not having paperwork submitted in time. According to National Law Journal (3/13/14), more than 730 plaintiffs have reportedly not filed necessary paperwork.

Nexium is used to treat acid reflux. Lawsuits allege use of the drug is linked to an increased risk of bone fractures.

the lawyer I talked too said I had to take nexium up to 6months till I got sick,seems like a crock I have been on dialysis for 3yrs now and I took nexium for a long time even over the counter.

My doctor prescribed nixiuom,prilsice,others for I guess 10 to 15 yrs.now,for aszid reflux .now I'm disabled,cant work,blood pressure stays high,my bones feel like there breaking if turn just right,they snap,crack,hurt like hell when it's cool,rainy weather.ive been told I have possible renal failure by a kidney doc.No one told me ,years ago that I should stop taking this med.after a few months,ive taken them few yrs. now I'm falling apart.this is not right,id love to be able to go back to work,"I was an over- the- road "C.D.L.,truck driver, for 15 yrs.Would have retired at it,but not now,im washed out,because I trusted my doc.Thanks.DW.
