A plane crash involving a JetBlue Airbus A320 took place during landing at Sacramento airport Thursday afternoon. Reports indicate that passengers were told to evacuate via the emergency slides as a fire broke out on the underside of the plane.

So far, reports indicate that 15 passengers were injured and four were sent to local hospitals with minor injuries.

The JetBlue flight was en route from Long Beach in California, and blew two tires on touch down at Sacramento airport. Initial reports state that the plane appeared to experience trouble with its brakes. "The crew elected to evacuate the aircraft in an abundance of caution," according to the budget airline. "The airport fire department reported immediately to the aircraft and EMS personnel are on-site to assist."

The 86 passengers were removed from the plane by the inflatable sides to board buses waiting nearby on the tarmac and from there to the terminal.
