Arachi, PakistanA Russian-made cargo plane with eight crew on board crashed just after takeoff and caused a huge blaze on the ground. Casualties on the ground appeared likely. This is the third plane crash in less than four months in Pakistan.
In July, an Airblue passenger jet crashed into hills near Islamabad, which killed all 152 onboard the plane and earlier this month, a small passenger plane crashed soon after take off , killing 21 people.
Pervais George, aviation authority spokesman, said the Russian-made cargo plane was heading to Sudan when it came down two minutes after take off. At the moment, casualties have not been confirmed.
