div itemprop="articleBody" class="article">Western MAA plane crash killed one person and injured three others December 5 in western Massachusetts. The single-engine plane appeared to have hit high-tension wires, although it hasn't yet been determined whether the wires caused the crash or were struck during its descent.

The 28-year-old Cessna 206G plane was registered in 2005 to Airborne Maintenance Inc., based out of Ronkonkoma, New York, according to FAA records. An FAA spokeswoman did not know who had been killed; one of the survivors was in critical condition, and two were in serious condition.

Federal investigators were en route to the crash site this afternoon and National Transportation Safety Board officials are arriving at the scene of the crash tomorrow.
