New Information Shown to Jury Produced Record Talc Verdict

Los Angeles, CA A jury trial in California recently ordered Johnson & Johnson to pay a record $417 million to a woman dying of ovarian cancer for failure to warn that the genital talc use could cause cancer. Eva Echeverria used J&J’s Johnson’s Baby Power on a daily basis for decades and claimed talc ultimately led to her cancer diagnosis.

Hip Replacement and Cobalt Poisoning misdiagnosed as Alzheimer's

Palm Springs, CA: Robert’s hip replacement has served him well for many years, even though the metal-on-metal device was recalled by DePuy. Just recently, however, his cobalt levels have skyrocketed. “My husband is having cognitive issues, which seems to indicate cobalt poisoning,” says Trudy. “In January, DePuy said they would pay for surgery to have it removed but now they won’t cover it because my husband had the surgery in India. DePuy sells its devices worldwide, so what difference does it make?”

Wrongful Death Suit Filed After Cops Shoot Woman with Bipolar Disorder 33 Times

Torrance, CA The video posted on YouTube shows a large gray sedan blocked in on a friendly neighborhood side street in Torrance, California with a 39-year-old black woman behind the wheel. The car accelerates and rams a police car, then lurches forward and rams another police car. Three Torrance police officers fire 33 bullets in rapid succession into the vehicle. Michelle Shirley, a mother and a graduate of Loyola University law school is gravely wounded and within an hour she is pronounced dead at County Harbor – UCLA Medical Center on October 31, 2016.
