Island Def Jam Music Group

A $132 million dollar verdict has been awarded to TVT Records in a suit filed against Island Def Jam Music Group. The suit was filed in regards to a dispute over an unreleased record by Ja Rule. The suit claimed that Universal Music Group, the parent company for Island Def Jam Music Group had blocked the completion of an album being produced by Ja Rule and TVT Records.
