A $750 million dollar settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed against Microsoft by AOL Time Warner. The suit was filed in January 2002 on behalf of AOL subsidiary Netscape Communications, and alleged antitrust charges. Under the terms of settlement, Microsoft will now license its browsing software to AOL until 2010 at no cost. The two companies will also work on initiatives to make their respective products work together more smoothly. (May-30-03)
