Kvaerner U.S. Inc.

A Nevada jury has returned a verdict of $136.9 million in the lawsuit filed on behalf of Equatorial Tonopah Inc. Equatorial accused Kvaerner of misrepresenting the potential value of the mine in an analysis done in 1997. According to the complaint, "plaintiffs have incurred, and will continue to incur, substantial losses that would hot have been incurred had defendants performed their obligations and not misrepresented the facts."
