Dress Barn Inc.

A $32 million dollar verdict has been awarded to Alan Glazer, GLZR Acquisition Corp. and Bedford Fair Industries, Ltd. in the lawsuit filed against Dress Barn Inc., a women's clothing retailer. The suit was filed in May 2000 alleging unfair trade practices and breach of contract related to Dress Barn's proposed takeover of Bedford Fair, before Bedford sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
