A $990,000 settlement has been reached in the whistleblower lawsuit filed on behalf of Michelle Doggett. Doggett claimed that the lab retaliated against her after she exposed financial mismanagement in her department, the lab's energy, manufacturing and transportation division. The settlement is believed to be one of the largest for a whistleblower in the Bay Area. (Sep-15-03)
