LAWSUITS NEWS & LEGAL INFORMATION
Town of Greenwich, CT.
A $4.5 million settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed by Katrina Peters, the widow of John Peters who was shot on Aug. 5, 1993 in his swimming pool by Andrew Wilson, a one-time family friend with a history of mental illness. The suit claimed that Greenwich police and town officials were liable for the murder as they were aware that Wilson had threatened and harassed Wilson for several months before the murder, however they failed to respond appropriately.
