LAWSUITS NEWS & LEGAL INFORMATION
Bushmaster Firearms of Windham, Maine.
A $2.5 million settlement has been reached in the lawsuit filed on behalf of victims of the Washington, D.C.-area sniper shootings. The suit alleged that at least 238 guns, including the snipers´ rifle, disappeared from a gun shop in the three years before the shooting rampage, and despite audits by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms showing that dozens of guns were missing, Bushmaster continued to use the shop as a dealer and provided it with as many guns as the owners wanted.
