Phaneesh Murthy, Infosys director

Former Infosys director Phaneesh Murthy has reached an $800,000 settlement with ex-Infosys employee Jennifer Griffith in the sexual harassment lawsuit she filed against him and Infosys in 2003. Half of the payment was paid up by Phaneesh Murthy and the rest by the company's insurers.

Phaneesh Murthy had quit Infosys and was CEO of iGate Global Solutions when Griffith pressed charges. Infosys did not contribute any money to the settlement and was not a signatory to the settlement agreement. (Nov-25-04) [INDIAN EXPRESS]
