Bristol Township

The Bristol Township Council agreed to pay James Hoskins $350,000. He was mistakenly shot in the leg when police stormed his apartment in a drug raid. Hoskins was naked and unarmed when Detective Dale Keddie Jr. shot him. Hoskins lost his leg after the gunshot wound got infected and filed a lawsuit against Bristol Township and Middletown Detective Dale Keddie Jr. Hoskins was not the target when police stormed his apartment. They were after his brother David Hoskins, who was a suspected drug dealer. David was arrested right after the apartment was stormed.
