The jeans manufacturer has been ordered by a federal court in Mexico to pay Comexma contractors $45 million for wrongful allegations of counterfeit clothing. A brand protection attorney allegedly sent a police raid to the Mexican City contractor in search for counterfeit jeans. Comexma was an authorized manufacturer and was awarded $45 million for tarnished reputation. (Mar-07-05)
