Girish Wadhwani was severely injured in March 2003, when he was hit, head on, by a truck that was being chased by a police officer. Millbrae Police Officer, Marc Farber, was chasing Joseph Boldt after he allegedly ran a stop sign. The pursuit was headed south on northbound lanes of an interstate highway when the head on crash occurred. Wadhwani suffered wounds to his head and face, a broken pelvis and hip, and numerous other injuries. The lawsuit felt the officer was acting recklessly and Wadhwani was awarded $3.15 million for personal injuries, pain and suffering. (Mar-19-05) [INSIDE BAY AREA]
