Syngenta

The United States Department of Agriculture has issued a $375,000 fine and a requirement that Syngenta sponsor a compliance training conference for the release of non approved Bt10 corn. The Environmental Protection Agency and the USDA concluded that there is no human or animal health or environmental concerns with Bt10 corn but it is still not approved and should be released to the public.
