Quest Software Inc

Quest Software Inc. has settled a lawsuit with Computer Associates International Inc for $16 million. The lawsuit stemmed from allegations that Quest had used Computer Associates International information, protected under intellectual property laws. Due to the settlement, neither company has to announce either fault or liability in the case. The $16 million covers both damages and back payments on royalties. The settlement also reverted control of the product in question back to Quest. Both Computer Associates International and Quest Software are software management companies.
