City firefighters investigated Dennis Barger basement for dangerous gas levels and discovered amateur nude photographs along with a bar and stripper pole. Barger caught city police officers on videotape improperly searching his basement and discussing their intent to seize materials without a warrant. He filed a lawsuit against the city claiming officers violated his civil rights. Ypsilanti officials agreed to pay Barger a $100,000 settlement. (Apr-23-05) [M LIVE]
